Cyber Tech High School is a fully virtual, private high school dedicated to preparing students for success in a high-tech future. It is located in the state of Texas. The Premier Virtual Learning High School to Pursue Cutting-Edge Technological Fields Cyber Tech High School was created by MyComputerCareer, a leader in career education for IT networking and cybersecurity that has equipped thousands of graduates with the skills and resources for success. Many MyComputerCareer graduates have received job offers from top tech companies across America, including IBM, Cisco, and Microsoft.

It is the mission of CTHS to prepare students for success in a high-tech future. In their commitment to equipping the next generation to enter the tech space and accelerate their path, their dedicated leadership team started Cyber Tech High School to empower high school students to:

• Discover their greatest interests within the tech space
• Acquire valuable technical skills and real-world experience
• Launch into the tech school of their choice
• Land a job in the tech field that exceeds the average pay for new high school graduates.
• Students will learn by doing through hands-on projects that prepare them for a cutting-edge career right out of high school whether in IT, robotics, gaming, coding, or any other technical path they desire.

Prior challenges were around understanding the specific logistics and required steps, processes, and key operating documents needed to start up a new school.  Some of the challenges included:

• How long will the project span?  When can the school launch?

Keys to Success

By utilizing JAG Consulting and streamlining the process of developing a brand-new private school, CTHS was able to complete these tasks in a reduced timeframe and with expert guidance.  The private school development project began in November 2020 and was completed in March 2021.  The process of developing an online high school spanned approximately four months.  CTHS plans to open with a soft launch summer program in June 2021, which will lead to a fall enrollment beginning in August 2021.
