Located in Brownstown, Michigan. is named after the entire Gudith family. The Gudith family name has a long and rich history connected with the current site of the elementary school and the Downriver area.

Gudith Elementary School was founded in 1902 by Grace Gudith. Great great great grandmother of Jeannie A. Gudith, CEO of JAG Consulting. 

It all started in 1902.

Joe Visconti is founder and President of Beacon Education Consulting, LLC. As a consultant, he advises owners of exit strategies and assists in the sale of their schools. He also identifies acquisition candidates for private investors, mid-sized firms, or public-school groups.

As a business owner-operator and President of a private-for-profit, post-secondary proprietary schools, his record of accomplishment of success included the start-up, ownership, and oversight of multiple accredited school groups. He fully understands the challenges and rewards of owning and operating small to mid-sized businesses. Specifically, he is well versed in managing a business through its various lifecycles – launch, growth, decline, turn-arounds, maturity, and sale.

Joe’s experience as Founder and President for the Academy of Computer Careers spanned 18 years. The schools were nationally accredited with multi campuses servicing Southern New Jersey. The organization was sold to Prism Career Institute and Mr. Visconti remained with the group as Vice President of Business Development. His efforts at Prism, Pioneer Education, LLC, and Beacon Education Consulting resulted in acquisitions ranging from $250,000 to $6.5 million. Joe has advised business owners selling to Private Investors, Venture Capitalist Groups, and publicly traded career training schools such as Lincoln Educational Services.

Mr. Visconti graduated from Eastern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Dynamics and his M.B.A from Wilmington University. His one driving goal for any “sell-side” clients is to find a qualified buyer, attain maximum value, and complete the transaction while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
